Project closure (28th June, 2002)

The project closure event was organized in the Vajdahunyad Castle in Budapest. We discussed the results of the project with the partners. We demonstrated the implementing of the project and the further oportunities of development giving some lectures.

Membership of the Hungarian Association for Geo-Information (HUNAGI) (Dec, 2001)

The project is member of the HUNAGI from December till the end of the implementing. HUNAGI is a forum for public-private partnership in the national spatial data infrastructure development. Mission objectives: Promotion for Access and Use of Geographical Information by Improving Coordination, Co-operation, Networking and Exchange of Information in European and Global Level.

Meeting for Land Offices (18th Dec, 2001)

The meeting was organized for the managers of Country Land Offices. The subject was the technical aspects of the obtaining cadastral maps at CLO and the introduction of the project.

HCSO Seminar on Digital Map Project (12th Dec, 2001)

The seminar organized by the HCSO, that was about the project and the activities of the project. We could hear for example about the GIS infrastructure of HCSO, the proposed GIS Concept for HCSO, the native GIS data infrastructure, the starter applications and the user interfaces of "Kettle" .

The monitoring of the project (6th Dec, 2001)

The monitoring of the Phare project HU99-09-03-02 was held by the EU Delegation. The monitoring covered all the components of the project (supply, service, twinning). The EU Delegation payed special attention to what extent the tasks formulated in the TOR have been implemented so far.

The project appeard to the proffessionals of GIS on the Hungarian GIS Conference in Szolnok. For this opportunity a document was prepared. Its name is "Forming the spatial informatical background of agricultural statistics in the HCSO" (pdf).
