General progress in the fourth quarter Activities Concerning Stage Three, Complying Map Collection Books (WBS 3000) Obtaining parcel based graph maps, scanning of maps, geo-coding of plantations The Third Stage, Compiling Map Collection Books was closed with the acceptance test of the delivered maps and the approval of the acceptance report by the HCSO. Activities Concerning Stage Four, GIS Development (WBS 4000) Digital Map Build The implementation of the software was closed on 28 March. The internal testing was carried out and the bug fixing was finished. The user documentation is ready. GIS data integration and migration As part of Data Integration an interface to HCSO central database was specified. HCSO delivered test data. After having accessed test data from Geodézia Rt. the Integration focusing on Digital Map has been started. The activity was successfully closed. User acceptance test The step by step test was carried out on 3-4 June, 2002, the revealed bugs were fixed and the acceptance of the application was carried out. Stage Four, GIS Development was finished with the execution
of the Acceptance Test and the signing of the Acceptance Protocol by the
HCSO. Activities Concerning Installation at HCSO Stage (WBS 5000) Establish training programme The curriculum for the training was elaborated during the quarter and the two-volume booklet with the relating slides were prepared. Implementation of the training The training of the HCSO staff was realised in three groups during the quarter. Apart from acquiring basic spatial informatical knowledge, the participants of groups A and B became familiar with the management of the ArcView 3.2 spatial informatical programme and the developed application. Beyond this, IT experts participating in group C underwent a more thorough spatial informatical training and they also acquired system operation knowledge. DM in operation The detailed elaboration of the installation process
and then its implementation was carried out. The database and the user
interface were installed. Supporting HCSO in the initial operation The staff of the Agricultural Department were successfully involved in activities needing spatial informatics and the problems encountered were documented. Stage Five, Installation at the HCSO was closed with the
acceptance of the training programme report and the report of the on-site
installation by the HCSO. Activities concerning Stage Six, Project Closure (WBS 6000) Review at initial operation The review activity has been started. The aim of the activity
is to evaluate the results of the project and to define such further aims
that ensure the future sustainability and extensibility of project results.
The official accounting of reimbursables has been prepared.
The document forms part of the Final Report as appendix. Stage Six, Project Closure closes with the approval of the Final Report by the HCSO. Activities concerning quality assurance (WBS 7400) Quality assurance of software
development The quality assurance of software development was closed during the quarter. The quality assurance reports have been prepared. The Quality Assurance Stage (WBS 7400) was closed with the approval of the quality assurance report of software development by the HCSO. Activities Concerning Project Marketing (WBS 7500) Articles In the 3 April edition of Geodézia és Kartográfia (Geodesy and Cartography) specialist periodical an article entitled "Land Office services from the customer's point of view" appeared, which is the revised version of one of the lectures presented at GIS Open 2002 Conference in Székesfehérvár. The material of three lectures presented at the 2nd Conference The Role of Spatial Informatics in the Structural Reform of Agriculture and in Rural Development "Data Holders - Users" held in Kaposvár appeared in a university specialist periodical entitled Acta Agraria Kaposváriensis. (1) Technical Report about the collection of map sheets The language of the document is Hungarian. Its aim is to summarise the experience regarding the collection of the map sheets. (2) Technical Report about the scanning of the map sheets The language of the document is Hungarian. Its aim is to summarise the experience and information concerning the scanning of the map sheets and it also contains the report on quality control. (3) Technical Report about the geo-coding of plantations The language of the document is Hungarian. Its aim is to summarise experience and information concerning the geo-coding of plantations and it also contains the report on quality control. (4) Modifications of Software Architecture Plan The language of the document is Hungarian. It contains the necessary modifications of the "System Architecture Plan" drawn up in the second quarter. The aim of the document is to present all of the modifications affecting the functions of the Digital Map management system, carried out during the system development, in a single document. (5) User Manual The language of the document is Hungarian. Its aim
is to help the management of the Digital Map management system. (6) Technical Report of Acceptance Test Plan The language of the document is Hungarian. Its aim is the detailed documentation of the acceptance procedure of the Digital Map management system. The report contains the revealed and fixed bugs and the certificate about the approval of the acceptance procedure. (7) Training Curriculum and auxiliary materials for training The language of the document is Hungarian. Its aim is to define the requirements against training, to introduce the methodology applied during the training and to outline the schedule of the subject-matter. (8) Training Report The language of the document is Hungarian. Its aim is to document the training activity, to summarise the experience. The report contains the certificate about the approval of the training. (9) Report about the installation of the Digital Map management system The language of this document is Hungarian.
