The e-Book is a collection of electronic maps on parcel level. The electronic map is produced by scanning of cadastral maps in scale 1:10 000 concerning agricultural area and in scale 1:4 000 concerning small gardens and rural area. Each settlement has an own electronic map, which has been involved in the 2001 survey on vineyard and fruit trees.

The e-Books are organised by counties plus Budapest building 20 e-Books. Each electronic map includes geo-codes of survey sites. The survey sites are managed by used land (vineyard, fruit tree and berry plantation). Data of land user and attribute data of used parcels registered at the 2001 survey are linked by geo-codes to the geographical location (one or more agricultural parcels) of used land. It makes possible to access data of the 2001 survey by geographic location positioning the geo-code on screen or by typing the unique identifier of the survey site. HCSO’s user can access e-Books data through Digital Map too. E-Books is created in Hungarian language and installed at 5 workstations of HCSO.
