GEOMETRIA GIS Systems House was founded in 1986. Right from the beginning GEOMETRIA has been the Hungarian market leader in the service and development of GIS systems. Regarding the non-profit activity, Geometria plays an important role in the organisation of professional forums, in the support of professional education, in the foundation and support of the funds HUNGIS and HUNAGI. These funds contributed significantly to the development and strengthening of the GIS market in Hungary.

Apart from impressive results in the domestic market, Geometria has met significant success in EU countries. Geometria first export work was in 1991 and since then Geometria has managed to obtain the confidence of its partners with competitive prices and quality services. Geometria’s foreign contractors have included public authorities, utilities, engineering offices and private companies in The Netherlands, Germany and other EU countries.

In 1995, in order to strengthen and focus its marketing activity, Geometria established a subsidiary in The Netherlands, which is 100 % owned by Geometria.
